Motion Freeze is a concept album whose production technique is guided by the idea of track foundations being static and highly repetitive, with only subtle hints of progress and development over time.

Carefully crafted patterns with intricate meters and a sparse selection of distinct sounds outline a static background frame for the album. Perception of motion and song structure is abstract and mostly left to the listener. A contrasting focal point is provided by cinematic ambient textures sprinkled on top, helping to create tension and to further dramatise the hypnotic effect.

All tracks written during the unusual year of 2020, with a style born from quarantine routine and isolation.
